Split Faced Walling
Split faced walling can be produced in a range of course heights for each specific project and in a range of stone.
Here are two examples of stone we have provided for split faced walling, with the fire station having different layers to break up fascia.
Herring Bone
Herring bone finish is a unique traditional stone method and is often used in modern restoration projects of older properties or tying into local authority planning requirements. These tend to be unusual and rare, but it is something we can produce.
These examples are from a header section, the full story about this is in our projects area, click HERE to find out more.
Tumbled Walling
Tumbled walling is the finishing touches to split faced walling where the stone goes through our unique tumbler which removes the edges of the stone creating a softer aesthtic look and often can be a planning requirements specification. We are one of the few places in the country who can process this finish.
And to finalise, I have this to say.
Tooled Finishes to Match Heritage Projects
Tooled finishing gives the exterior of stone a unique tooled finish like a pattina or shaped surface finish.
This is a unique traditional stone method and is often used in modern restoration projects of older properties or tying into local authority planning requirements. These tend to be unusual and rare, but it is something we can produce.
