Natural Stone Door Threshold Step

We were asked to make a door threshold step, have it ‘carved’ or ‘stenciled’ with the name and year – and ensure it was made of natural stone.

They wanted a curved front shape, almost like a bullnose step.  Due to the size of the stone, we had it cut out on the CNC machine to ensure 100% accuracy of the curvature.

After the machine work, our resident stonemason stencilled the letter, over the front radius, and infilled it.   The overall finish means an elegant, solid and personal step as ‘welcome to our house’ statement.
